About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take on a pivotal leadership role. The CFO will be responsible for more than just financial oversight; they will be a key player in the strategic decision-making process, using financial analysis to drive the company's long-term success. This includes overseeing all financial operations, providing clear and timely financial insights to the executive team, and ensuring that the company's financial practices are in line with best practices and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will also be involved in shaping the company's financial strategy, managing cash flow, and leading activities related to CDFI and grant applications. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a preference for those with experience in banking or credit unions. The role requires a proven leader with strong team management skills, excellent communication, and presentation abilities, and a deep understanding of regulatory reporting, risk management, and financial compliance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proactive, solution-focused approach to financial leadership, and will be adept at translating complex financial information into actionable insights. Responsibilities also include leading regulatory reporting, tax filings, and audits, as well as developing and enforcing financial policies, internal controls, and compliance measures.
