We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader fueled by passion for revenue growth, to provide leadership for companywide activities and strategies focused on generating, maintaining, and increasing revenue. An experienced leader who will passionately integrate and align functions across the organization, including Marketing, Sales, Product Innovation, Customer Service, achieve revenue targets, and grow demand for the company's products and services.

Together with members of the executive leadership team, the CRO will execute on the corporate strategic plan, focusing on the expansion of customer segments and business partnerships. The CRO will also be instrumental in creating a sales-driven strategic plan for generating revenue streams.

 

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Develop the overall sales strategy focused on maximizing revenue and profitability through the proactive generation and conversion of sales opportunities. The primary goal is to increase sales volumes, market share (clear market/channel data understanding and competitive insight/understanding), and customer acquisition while efficiently managing resources and costs to achieve sustainable growth.
  • Partner with the executive leadership team to execute the corporate strategic plan and develop additional plans to ensure profitable revenue streams. In addition, will lead the Strategic Accountability Committee and as needed, present and partner with the E.A. Sween Board of Directors.
  • Create capabilities to effectively analyze the business environment, identify and understand competitors, and retain and expand the customer base. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify market needs and innovate new products.

 

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Source, gather and review data for revenue forecasting, KPIs, risk mitigation, and budgets. Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary for sustainable growth. Use data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance.
  • Leverage industry subject matter experts, and external network of peers and contacts to maintain knowledge of the latest sales enablement technologies, best practices, and benchmarks.
  • Develop effective and data-driven pricing strategies to ensure the company generates appropriate target profits.
  • Oversee the build out of strong brands and effective marketing campaigns to differentiate products in a crowded marketplace and capture consumer attention.
  • Lead the research to identify internal and external opportunities to expand and optimize revenue-producing activities. Continuously evolve the company’s brand strategy in response to market trends and creative opportunities.
  • Leverage customer insights and research to provide strategic leadership for brand architecture and positioning.
  • Invest in research and development to create innovative products or improve existing ones, remain competitive, and meet evolving consumer preferences.
  • Build effective teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs.

 

What You’ll Need (Qualifications/Required Skills)

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 15+ years of demonstrated experience growing revenue through new-product development, marketing, branding, and partnerships.
  • Food Industry and/or Manufacturing experience.
  • Excellent leadership & management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving annual revenue and growth objectives.
  • Experience establishing, leading, communicating and executing strategic business plans.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and gain alignment between parties, while achieving business results and creating win-win outcomes. 
  • Proven experience building effective teams which drove profitable revenue growth.
  • Experienced leader who leads with passion, committed to people development, and fosters a culture of diversity, belonging and inclusion.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
