The major function of this position is: In conjunction with the digital marketing manager, help design, create, and produce a variety of Zeal Optics digital marketing materials and ensure a consistent look and feel across all platforms. The position of Digital Marketing Intern for Zeal Optics will provide an opportunity to gain digital, social, ecommerce and general marketing experience through a variety of activities aimed at growing the Zeal Optics Brand and online sales.
Zeal Optics interns are challenged with real projects and assignments that add value to the business while also developing professional skills. This intern will have the opportunity to gain real-work experience and work in a friendly, fast-paced, and constantly changing environment.
The principal responsibilities and duties of this position are: - Assist with the implementation of Zeal's online marketing to create a consistent and exceptional customer experience and drive sales. This includes all B2C and B2B digital marketing efforts.
- Facilitate website operations and promotional campaigns, ensuring all work is completed on schedule.
- Assist in the daily execution of ongoing initiatives including, but not limited to image format, product uploads, product updates, etc.
- Assist with web metrics, SEO and PPC reports to drive online traffic to the website and social.
- Sort, organize and share media for key online retailers, ensuring activation for all digital branding opportunities.
- Work with digital team to respond to social media comments and DMs.
- Assist e-marketing, web, and events teams to ensure delivery of impactful site content, social community, and social media engagement. Proactively contribute to strategic advancements in those area.
- Partner with retail team on events and grassroots marketing to drive conversions in the retail store.
- Perform other tasks as requested or assigned.
Schedule & Pay - Spring 2025
- This is a paid internship with weekly hours ranging from 20-40 depending on business needs.
- The starting pay for this internship is $20/hour.
Desired Qualifications As a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position: - Bachelor's degree in marketing (or related field) or current junior or senior in a similar major at an accredited college or university
- Experience with HTML, strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and all social media platforms
