Junior Product Photographer

Steve Madden is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Product Photographer to join our in-house creative team. The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced studio environment and is passionate about fashion photography. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality imagery of footwear, handbags, and accessories across a range of our brands, including Steve Madden, Madden Girl, Betsey Johnson, Blondo, and Anne Klein. You may also be asked to support event photography as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality product photography of shoes, handbags, and accessories for e-commerce, marketing, and editorial use
• Maintain consistent brand aesthetics and technical quality across all brands and platforms
• Assist in styling and setting up product shots in collaboration with stylists and art directors
• Support occasional lifestyle and event photography
• Organize, name, and deliver image assets according to studio workflow standards
• Ensure studio equipment is maintained and used safely
• Contribute to a collaborative and creative work environment

Requirements:

• 12 years of experience in a professional photography studio or equivalent
• Proficiency with Canon camera systems, Capture One, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom)
• Solid understanding of studio lighting, composition, and color correction
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume studio environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• A passion for fashion and visual storytelling

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience shooting accessories or fashion product photography
• Familiarity with digital asset management systems
• Knowledge of retouching techniques a plus

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 - $65,000. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
