Job Title: Salesforce Developer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA , only Local to Bay Area, candidates 

Duration : 12th Month Contract

Job Summary:

Our Client is seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Salesforce platform development, customization, and integrations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build, deploy, and support applications that enhance Client customer relationship management capabilities. This role requires hands-on development skills and an ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Salesforce solutions, including the creation of Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, triggers, and workflows to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other internal/external applications using APIs, web services, and middleware.
• Participate in all phases of the Salesforce development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for existing Salesforce applications and integrations.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and best practices in all Salesforce processes and development.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for new and existing Salesforce solutions.
• Stay current on new Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of Salesforce development experience (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, Salesforce APIs).
• Salesforce Developer certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II) are highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration capabilities such as workflows, process builders, custom objects, and security settings.
• Experience with integrating Salesforce with external applications using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Salesforce Communities/Experience Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools for Salesforce (e.g., Jenkins, Gearset, Copado).
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and custom Lightning component development.
• Knowledge of AppExchange products and Salesforce ecosystem applications.
