Cloud Engineer

Need strong Kubernetes Experience, really strong AWS public Cloud Experience, and lastly they will be doing a lot of pipeline work in Jenkins for CI/CD so that is very important as well.

Kafka and API skills

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Strong Unix/Linux knowledge and experience in configuring and deploying applications in a public cloud like Azure/AWS.
• Very strong understanding and practical experience with implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or ARM
• Expertise and hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as GitHub, Artifactory and Jenkins.
• Proven knowledge and experience of building and managing cloud platforms (i.e. Kubernetes with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
• Hands on experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment and support.
• Experience in designing, creating and deploying automated processes to install, upgrade and rehydrate Kafka platforms in public cloud environment.
• Excellent analytical skills to triage and resolve production issues and outages
• Experience with on-call support, resolving incidents and release management practices.
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Very strong technical capability and passionate about learning new technologies and cloud trends
• Experience and willingness to work in globally distributed agile teams.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Event Streaming platforms such as Kafka
• Certification in public cloud (Azure or AWS)
